Broadcast and Cable Network EDI

LAMBediSM will exchange with all national advertising agencies and advertisers able to receive electronic invoices and contracts. For those media buyers not using LAMBediSM software, LAMBediSM connects to their EDI vendor or system automatically and seamlessly. LAMBediSM uses a simple table maintained within the installation at your office or datacenter to determine the connection required for every one of your agencies. This table can be maintained easily and simply by you or by us.

LAMBediSM uses the agency name found within your invoices and contracts for routing purposes. It ignores the agency ID, more commonly known as the IDB number, as this is not available for all agencies or not always correctly assigned. If your traffic system requires an IDB number to be able to “turn on” an agency or account for EDI, then any arbitrary number may be used with no adverse effect.

Trading partners exchange electronic messages directly with each other through their LAMBediSM system installed at their operations. There is no external third party "holding tank" or "repository" between trading partners holding the transactions. If your trading partners do not use LAMBediSM , it will automatically connect to their EDI services vendor, FTP site or whatever the communication protocol is required for communication.
