LAMBediSM for Radio

Warren Lamb & Associates (WLA) already provides the functionality to virtually all Canadian TV and Radio broadcasters. Our only requirement is that your stations be able to generate a formatted invoice file from a recognised broadcast traffic system vendor such as Deltaflex, WideOrbit or other comparable facility. We typically make little or no additional demands upon the broadcaster- we work within current, existing processes already in place. The invoice file data will be encrypted, formatted appropriately and distributed via the WLA LAMBediSM communication protocol, direct to EDI enabled advertising agencies using the DDS, Strata, Mediabank, Adtraq or other like back-office management systems.

The agencies will be able to receive their invoice file in the format they require, the file will load seamlessly into their computer system and be verified automatically. If the verification process produces a match between the invoice and the order data in the respective agency management system, the invoice can then immediately be made ready for payment to the broadcaster. We We presently provide this same functionality to all our Radio stations each of whom benefit significantly from a proven, flawless delivery and control mechanism. Importantly, we have a comprehensive support team in place to resolve all issues relating to invoice delivery. Typically agencies with a problem call our support team first and this relieves broadcasters of that responsibility and, as a result, able to focus more productively on other key business matters.

Why LAMBediSM for radio?

• Frankly, because it works. We have only been able to grow our Radio business because of the superiority of our functionality and our service. We now deliver over 80% of Canadian electronic invoicing and growing. We have achieved this only in the past 18 months and likely is a reflection upon the inadequacies and poor level of service of the incumbent.
• Agencies prefer to receive invoicing through LAMBediSM. It delivers the data in the unique form they need it in, regardless of what management system – DDS, Mediabank, Strata, Adtraq, Fuimus, etc., they use to verify the invoicing. They can also process non-media items through LAMBediSM, if they choose. We also offer the agency the facility to print the electronic invoice locally if they need it in a hard copy form.
• We service the business. If either the buyer or the seller has a problem with the sending or receipt of the invoice they call/contact us to resolve the matter. We have a full team of support people who quickly determine why the problem has occurred and then fix it.
• We provide a report, under the local control of the broadcaster, that details the delivery status of each and every agency invoice sent electronically, when it was received with a full complement of relevant data.

LAMBediSM Canada

The LAMBediSM communications protocol is already in use by each of the other key Canadian Radio players; Astral, Corus, Rogers and Chum. The LAMBediSM protocol is now installed in broadcast systems across North America. Our service now virtually blankets Canada and has done so for the past four/five years. It moves millions of invoice dollars electronically, securely to advertising agencies in the form that the agency requires. The invoices are seamlessly uploaded into the agencyís verification process where they are 'read' for compliance to the contract and then passed for payment. Our support team will essentially answer agency questions relating to electronic invoicing and quickly resolve any technical issues that might arise.

Reporting

We also provide a computerised report listing all invoices sent electronically and notification that they were safely received by the recipient: the Toronto Report. This report is installed locally in your offices and is entirely under your control. It is a great aid to ensuring that management knows, at a glance, that invoices have been both sent on the due date and received by the client.
